Michael Brown, author of I Don't Agree, in conversation with the Institute of Directors. Michael elaborates on a ten step structured approach to condition us for building agreements and consensus despite sharp differences - be it in the boardroom or during a tough business negotiation. He published his book - I Don’t Agree in the year 2020. His interest in the psychology of conflict and compromise arose after spectacularly falling out with his fellow shareholders in a business he led for a decade. The lessons he learned from that experience positively informed his next venture and gave rise to his book.
