A Haywards Heath mother whose student son was mugged on a train has written a book based on her experiences after the event.
The Middy reported back in February 2009, that Rory Wilkinson was punched and had is iphone and laptop stolen.
His mother, Lindsay Cook, said "The laptop was less than two months old and cost £1,300 yet the insurance company offered us £400."
Lindsay, a former Business Editor at The Times, was so incensed that she decided to write a book with colleague Anne Carborn to help people fight back against insurance companies, banks and utility companies, with useful tips and advice on how to save money and save energy.
Lindsay alleged: " The modern high street is full of financial bullies who grab our cash and give us poor deals in return. We need to wise up and fight back."
'Money Fight Club' is published by Harriman House.
