LiverpooL?s Anfield stadium hosts a two-day event this week aimed at helping people start their own business.
Kick Off in Business was launched in 2012 by Ken Horn and has so far helped more than 2,500 people to set up on their own.
He stages events in Premier League and Football League grounds around the country.
The free, fun and informal two-day courses carry a formal enterprise qualification and are ideal for anyone thinking about starting, or has recently started, in business.
Each event is delivered by specialist business support staff who can provide local knowledge and guidance on many other useful information platforms and resources.
Ken Horn is an enterprise and start-up expert, pundit for the BBC, ITV and author of Everyday Entrepreneurs ? The Sugar Free, Dragon Slaying guide for the simple small business.
Over the past 10 years he has helped more than 6,000 people set up in business.
Mike Evans, general manager of The Football League Trust, said: ?The Football League Trust is delighted to be involved. We have a real commitment to develop the communities which our clubs serve and this is an ideal way to encourage business and prosperity in those areas.?
Mr Horn said: ?Kick Off in Business hopes to harness the power of football to reach communities and people that other training and education providers are unable to reach. The opportunity is very exciting.?
The Anfield event will take place this Thursday and Friday, March 12 and 13 and will cover topics such as vision, values and targets for your business, business skills and characteristics, generating enquiries, sales and promotion, finance, bookkeeping and taxation, and business planning, mapping and forecasting.
