Simon Gray, an entrepreneur and chartered accountant, will speak to those gathered for the meeting on Tuesday, June 9.
During a one-hour presentation, he will detail his extensive career, which began in accountancy and then recruitment, and currently sees him running several businesses, including a careers and employability training company.
Mr Gray is chief executive of Nottingham Means Business, an organisation which helps to drive economic growth throughout the Midlands. He is also president of the Nottingham, Derby and Lincoln Society of Chartered Accountants and represents the East Midlands region in London.
His talk, which will take place at The Pavilion, at Branston Golf and Country Club, is expected to be filled with stories and anecdotes about his approach to life and business.
A spokesman for the business club said: "Multi-tasking is not new to Simon, as he has successfully combined many roles in the past with his passion for martial arts and publishing his first book in 2013."
The networking evening will run from 6.30pm until 9pm, and a two-course meal will be served.
