(Bloomberg) -- The synchronised level of global growth that we are currently seeing indicates that we are in the latter stages of the bull market cycle, says Andrew Craig and Gervais Williams, authors of "Harriman’s New Book of Investing Rules". They told Daybreak Europe’s Markus Karlsson that investors must keep an eye on changes in trends. They added that it is most efficacious for investors to hold a mixture of assets in all major regions layered with a backward looking following on each of those assets. Furthermore, it’s essential to identify companies which have upside and are less correlated with the overall trend, such as the UK small and midcap sector.
