Business support company Enterprise Nation has launched a new campaign to help transform the lives of 500,000 people by helping them start or grow their own business in 2011.
Enterprise Nation founder Emma Jones says: ?Unemployment is up and so are public sector cuts, but we want to show people that there can be an entrepreneurial future for them - and that they can be their own boss.?
Research suggests small businesses will contribute to the UK?s growth and dynamism, but entrepreneurialism needs to be encouraged and supported.
Help 500,000 UK Businesses
Enterprise Nation is asking others from the world of business to come forward and help in its ?Business in Bloom? campaign.
?Please join us in helping reverse economic ?doom and gloom? and creating one of the most entrepreneurial years in UK history? Jones asks.
Enterprise Nation is pledging its support through a number of its own projects, including the launch of The Start-Up Kit, which claims to include ?everything you need to start a small business?, Bitsy ?the friendliest business to business marketplace on the web? and
live events to take place this year in London and Manchester.
