Since the beginning of the year I’ve committed myself to cracking open a book or listening to an audiobook every single day. Whether it’s during the commute to and from work, before I start my day, at work as part of my studies for a licensing exam, or at night when I get home, I try my best to fit it into my schedule no matter how busy it may become. Reading on a consistent basis can come with a large number of benefits such as improved memory, stress reduction, improved vocabulary and grammatical skills, heightened analytical skills, etc. Personally, reading gives me the opportunity to get out of my own head, at least for a little while, as well as to ensure I learn something new every day,
