Alasdair Nairn

Dr Alasdair (Sandy) Nairn is an author and investment management professional. He is currently the Executive Director of the Global Opportunities Trust, a UK listed investment trust, and the author of three books: How AI Will Move Markets, The End of the Everything Bubble, and Engines That Moved Markets, which is an acclaimed historical analysis of past technological advances, from the railways to the Internet. He is also an early-stage investor personally in AI ventures and a Visiting Professor at the University of Strathclyde.
