Michael Decter

Michael B. Decter is a Harvard-trained economist, co-founder of Lawrence Decter Investment Counsel, and partner at KPMG, the largest accounting firm in the world. A former Cabinet Secretary in two Canadian provincial governments, university chancellor, and a Trustee of the $4 billion Auto Sector Health Care Trust, he is the recipient of both the Queen’s Jubilee Medal and The Order of Canada, the nation’s highest civilian honor. A renowned money manager with over 35 years of experience in investing, he is the author of the bestseller Million Dollar Strategy, which chronicles his journey from public servant to self-made millionaire. Michael currently serves as the CEO, CIO, and CCO at LDIC, where he and his team manage $550 million in investor funds. A frequent guest on Bloomberg/BNN and speaker at industry events, he, too, is represented by the National Speakers Bureau. Michael resides in Toronto, Ontario.
